"Guard your steps when you go to the house of God. Go near to listen rather than to offer the sacrifice of fools, who do not know that they do wrong."
-Ecclesiastes 5
"Careful now, you'll hurt yourself...you'll hurt someone else."
It's bad enough to go into the house of God with a blank or distracted heart. It seems far worse to go that way as a leader. At times, I am sure I get in the way of God being glorified on Sundays. Sad and scary thought.

the House of god is a place of worship, solitude with the Lord, a place of guidance. Sometimes I think its necessary to enter the house of God with a distracted heart so you can leave with a reflective heart...we are all changed after a service. If you are a leader than you are showing that we are all human and have room for error and that is why we need a "close relationship with God". I hate that phrase but its true.
